I'm going to be shooting a short film in October, for which I have a killer script co-written with the award winning filmmaker Van Poynton.
The name of the film is Flesh/Blood; it's a thriller about three brothers, who break into the home of a lonely widower to commit a simple burglary, only to find that nothing about it proves simple, and a gruesome secret awaiting.
What I need now is an art director who shares my dark vision and unbounded enthusiasm for telling great stories.
This job might suit a brilliant up and comer, a student for example, or it might suit someone more experienced, e.g. the kind of art director who works on ads and promos most of the time but who secretly (or perhaps openly) yearns to work on longer narratives.
However, please note, that because this is a low budget, self funded short, it's absolutely imperative that the successful candidate be able to work for expenses.
Benefits:
Copy of film supplied, Showreel material, Food provided/allowance (expenses), Travel provided/allowance (expenses), Regular updates about film's progress
