Seeking an all rounder, an enthusiastic and committed person who is keen to get involved in all the assisting the Director.
The film is a crime thriller about human trafficking in London with a small crew and large cast. The film will be sent to charities and film festivals worldwide with a view to seeking distribution. The idea is to produce a story that is interesting and exciting.
Responsible for locations / props including sourcing for free (most props/locations have been secured), recce, health & safety, transport, crew and cast contact and production management, schedule (using celtx only), observing continuity and forecasting / executing (if necessary) emergency contingency plans. You will need to wheel some of the equipment to and from the production base each day. Also you will be encouraged to know or learn the basics of camera, sound and general post production workflow operations on this feature film production. A runner is hoped to be available to help out also during production from time to time.
The filming will be very fast, generally intense and is best described as "hyperrealism."
The Assistant Director will be encouraged to volunteer about once a week in pre-production with the Director (expenses will be provided for).
Driving license and a car is a bonus.
