14th-17th January 2011, Berlin, Germany
Your short films and music videos wanted to be shown at the ‘British Shorts’ film festival.
For the fourth time Lichtspielklub presents young (and short) films from Great Britain! After another fantastic festival and the popular success last January, we are happy to announce the dates for British Shorts 2011!
For four days we’ll show you documentaries, animations, comedy, drama, experimentals and music videos from the home of dirty weather. Made by British film students/professionals and other filmmakers that are somehow connected to Britain.
Our favourite place, the Sputnik Kino, a traditional art-house cinema in Berlin-Kreuzberg and the Schaubühne, Berlin’s best place for contemporary theatre, will be as always the hosts of the festival.
Of course there will be another of our popular workshops with lecturers from the University of Bedfordshire, concerts, parties and a photography exhibition.
Details of the programme will be announced on www.lichtspielklub.de in December.
Filmmakers still have the chance to send us their films until 30th November 2010. (No charges!)
