Talent Circle was founded upon 10 essential principles:
1. Provide a world-class online service
We will maintain our unique online service for the world's independent film community and deliver high quality content 7 days week, 365 days a year.
2. Maximum Inclusion
We will welcome all people to be part of the community, whatever their background or level of experience. Our activities will be affordable and accessible to the majority.
3. Improve Standards
We will formulate policies and guidelines for our members to realise better practices and use events to deliver knowledge of how best to utilise skills.
4. Investment in the Industry
We will invest our revenue into new services and events to help the independent and grassroots film community and will work other organisations to achieve this.
5. Bridge the Gap between different skills
We will facilitate the sharing of knowledge and meeting of minds between emerging film talent and experienced professionals to enable better understanding.
6. Knowledge and Education
We will deliver knowledge through online activities and events to educate and bring talents together. We will host screenings to develop film culture and understanding.
7. Clarity
All information we create will be presented as fully and accurately as possible.
8. Maintain 100% independence
To ensure our members' needs are put first we will be funded by our own activities and will only seek or accept sponsorship or funding if it will benefit our members.
9. Innovate and provide services not available elsewhere
We will attempt to identify beneficial services that could be created or made more accessible to ensure more people can gain skills or knowledge.
10. Work with members
Talent Circle is run for the benefit of its members. Members will be asked for their opinion on major changes to our service and consulted about its ongoing development.
In addition to our 10 essential principles we will ensure the environment is taken into account when planning and performing our activities.
