Hi all!
My name is Tom, and I'm the founder of a new children's book publishers, Smaller World Ltd. I'm making the first (in a series of 4 audio dramas) for young children and am seeking a composer.
We are unsure at the moment whether to turn this into a film, or audio drama, but are working towards the goal of it being in audio form.
The plot is going to be an 'imaginary scenery' plot. Whereby, the listener creates the world with their head. The narrator will guide the children through a series of worlds. Track by track.
I'm looking for a composer to write the music to the audio drama, which will become an audio CD to listen to in bed, iPod, etc. Will be moved to the app store, and iTunes.
The music should be calm, deep and relaxing. Monotonous, and embracing. There will be several tracks, and they all need to merge into another, but be distinguishable when flicking through, track by track.
I've hired an actress to speak over it, so the music should not be distracting.
There is no payment. However, you will get a royalty - and this will be your payment.
