Barking & Dagenham, Redbridge and Waltham Forest
Deadline for applications: Friday 22 October 2010 The fund aims to support emerging and experienced film-makers, living, working or studying in one of the three boroughs to produce an original short film. . Three to four grants with a maximum award of £2,000 - and a Student/Young Film-maker Award of up to £1,500 - are available. The award includes free professional support from an Executive Producer, training from industry professionals, free access to production facilities and opportunities for public screenings. One film is usually selected from each borough to take part in Film London's 'Best of Borough' (Bobs) competition, which in previous years has been held at Bafta.
