Details
Westminster based charity, Vital Regeneration, is currently recruiting for a Documentary Film Tutor, to lead on delivery of a local heritage film project.

The role will involve working with 20 young volunteers (aged 13 - 19), to create a film which reflects the rich history of the area.

The majority of the film will be made up of interviews with local residents, so the young volunteers will need to be trained in interview techniques as well as technical camera and sound operating skills.

We are looking for someone with professional documentary film experience, as well as experience of working with young people in a learning environment.

The exact time frame for the project is yet to be finalised, but is likely to be approximately 5 months, consisting of 1 day a week, with the possibility of more intensive periods of filming when required.

This is a freelance role, so the successful candidate will be expected to be responisble for their own tax arrangements, and will need to supply a Unique Tax Reference number. The rate of pay is £25 per hour teaching rates, and £12 per hour for set up/take down and meetings.

A full job description can be requested from emwilliams@vitalregen.org

As this role involves working with children and young people, it is subject to a Criminal Records Bureau check.
