Ambitious third-year film students making their final graduation film at the University for the Creative Arts. Being shot on Super 16mm, this is a short fiction film (approx. 10 minutes) about a young girl whose interest with the woman across the road turns into an intense fixation. The film intends on exploring themes of voyeurism and cinema's fascination with 'the child'; the child as the subject of the gaze juxtaposed with the child as the voyeur. The film also hopes to engage an audience to react to the current issue of the increasing sexualisation of younger and younger children We will be filming between Wednesday 7th of April and Wednesday the 14th of April, in Hertford. As this is a student film we cannot offer wages, however all expenses will be covered for the rehearsal and filming process. Audition will be held on Monday the 15th and Tuesday the 16th of March. Auditions will be held in the University of the Creative Arts, Farnham, Surrey. Details upon request.
