I am in need of anyone with Grip experience who has their own or free access to equipment (dolly, tracks etc) for a one day shoot for the local band The Curxes. The filming will take place during the next few weeks. We are still to lock in an exact date.
The video will be influenced on other 80's music videos from such artists as Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode, and Tears for Fears.
This will be my first venture into directing music videos, and even though I have experience in short films, I would like someone enthusiastic, talented, and experienced to help bring grip & lighting duties to this video.
The shoot will take place over just one day within a venue that the band have secured for any Monday, so the shooting date has still to be locked in, but it will be within the next few weeks when the band have finished recording their latest single. In the past I have always shot my own films and this time I'd like someone to help concentrate on the grip aspect of the piece to help relieve pressure from me as I concentrate on the directing side.
If interested, please forward me a link to any or all work for viewing.
This is an expenses only production, but food & drink will be provided by the band.
Here is a link to some of my work just to get a general idea of my style: http://www.youtube.com/user/Indigoelite007?feature=mhee
Also, here is a video I made for the band as their backdrop, here you'll find the aesthetic I am looking for: http://youtu.be/52Err_SUg6s
Thanks, Kev.
