Director: Aaron Garcia de Alba. This short film's working title is 'I Can't See You'. The film narrates a story of a teenage couple hanging out in the boyfriend's room (BEN), the girlfriend (Anna) is blind and is about to go to a college for blind people. Their last night is supposed to be a fun and not so serious goodbye, but the situation soon turns darker where we begin to see an underlying worry until one decides to talk about it yet the other is still sweeping it aside. This film will be a very conceptual film full of subtexts. The main source of inspiration has been the philosophy/notion of Wabi-Sabi. The film will be entirely showing a dark image. There will be 'no visuals' as such, because I would like to rob the audience of the visuals to get them to put themselves in the same situation as Anna the blind girl. It is a film of change, of illusions, of lies and of impotence. This film will be screened at the Prince Charles Cinema in June 2010, its my major project. After this I would like to present it to film festivals and galleries.
