The film is called March 29th (Working Title) and it is a 10 minute film. It is based on the 1980s style slasher films such as John Carpenter's Halloween, Sean S. Cunningham's Friday 13th, and Wes Craven's A Nightmare on Elm Street. March 29th is a story I have created which incorporates all of the styles and techniques of these films and at times it is self-referential. With the time scale being reduced quite a large amount the story has been restructured to be able to give the audience the right amount of information about the characters as well as providing enough scares and tension to make the film entertaining. This piece is for the final part of my degree and so will be of a very high standard, with a full production team, and high end equipment. However, there will be no fee available to any of the team involved, which includes the actors. Although travel and expenses will be provided for those involved.
