Details
The film is called March 29th (Working Title) and it is a 10 minute film. It is based on the 1980s style slasher films such as John Carpenter's Halloween, Sean S. Cunningham's Friday 13th, and Wes Craven's A Nightmare on Elm Street.

March 29th is a story I have created which incorporates all of the styles and techniques of these films and at times it is self-referential. With the time scale being reduced quite a large amount the story has been restructured to be able to give the audience the right amount of information about the characters as well as providing enough scares and tension to make the film entertaining.

This piece is for the final part of my degree and so will be of a very high standard, with a full production team, and high end equipment. However, there will be no fee available to any of the team involved, which includes the actors. Although travel and expenses will be provided for those involved.

Benefits: Copy of film supplied, Showreel material, Travel provided/allowance (expenses), Invite to screening, Regular updates about film's progress, Food provided/allowance (expenses), Food provided/allowance (expenses)

Jenny Hewitt (16 years old) (Actor)FemaleCaucasian-White16-18The film focuses on a group of teenagers being stalked by a masked killer. The lead teenager is Sarah.

Filming, for this character, takes place on Tuesday 30th March, form about 5.30pm until around 8.30pm.

Jenny is Sarah's mother. She was pregnant with Sarah when her boyfriend was killed by a boy, Mark Driscal, who was obsessed with her in school. Mark Driscal was bullied for the way he looked and gradually became mentally unstable. He was madly in love with Jenny and so took his revenge on her boyfriend.

Years later, the same Mark Driscal returns to seek his revenge once more, this time targeting Jenny's daughter, and anyone else who gets in his way.

This character appears i the final, climactic, scene as Jenny confronts Mark. Mark sees Jenny as he remembers her from school, so this character shows the audience Mark's mental state. He doesn't visualize Jenny (36 years old) walking towards him pleading for her daughter's life, he sees Jenny (16 years old)

The actress must be believable as a 16 year old girl and is required to be able to cry and convey strong eotion through speech, facial expression and body language.
