Showreel Opportunity
The Actors Studio is delighted to announce a unique opportunity to attend a workshop and to film a show reel with Nic Phillips currently a Director of Eastenders.
Nic Phillips began his career in the film industry in 1968, and has been a TV director and producer since 1979. Working across many genres, his credits include Doctors, Jasper Carrott, Aspel and Co, The Bill, Birds of a Feather, Brookside, Grange Hill, Desmonds, The Detectives and, entrancingly, the Hypnotic World of Paul Mckenna! His most recent work includes Casualty, Eastenders, and My Family, all prime-time shows for Bbc1.
Course dates are 6th and 7th March and 13th and 14th March 2010, 10am until 5pm at Pinewood Film Studios.
Schedule:
• Day 1 Acting for camera & the business of TV
• Day 2 Auditioning & Casting for TV- Director & Casting
Director.
Cast Show reel Scenes.
• Day 3 Marketing the Actor.
Rehearse scenes.
• Day 4 Filming Scenes. Scenes will be filmed using
Multi camera.
