It is well documented that the film and television industry takes no prisoners. It is a fact that flaky people will soon be found out and fall by the wayside. It isn’t enough to have talent, you have to be prepared to move your talent forward.
Successful Screenwriter Danny Stack, Director and founder/organiser of the Red Planet Scriptwriting prize has cut his teeth on award winning shows like Ali G, Eastenders, Badly drawn Roy, The Amazing Adrenalini Brothers and in addition he has been a script reader for numerous well-known production companies, like Working Title, Pathe, Miramax and the UK Film Council.
During this masterclass Danny will share with you how to break in to writing for television, what to expect, how to get your work in front of the commissioners as well as evaluating whether you need an agent to help develop your career.
Pre-booked tickets are £10 through Lighthouse, Poole Centre for the Arts. Phone the Box office on 0844 406 8666 to secure your place on the workshop. Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
