Starring Ralph Brown (Withnail and I, Boat that Rocked, Waynes World 2), Stuart Wolfenden - (Dead Man's Shoes) and Trevor and Simon (Going Live) - plus many more wonderful talented individuals - Written and directed by Pete Hunt.
The Premise: 'Elevator Gods' - Pitched as Dodgeball meets The Commitments - A 35 year old Bradford halfwit poseur must face his demons and persuade his reluctant mates to reform their Duran Duran tribute band The Reflex - to enter an 80’s tribute contest to win cash, redeem himself, and ultimately save their Bradford nightclub ‘The Brad Pit’.
A race against time follows for The Reflex, - that ultimately leads them to the Coliseum of the tribute world, - (an 80’s weekender at Haplin’s holiday camp in Skegness) - set by two 80's obsessed lottery winners (played amazingly by Trevor and Simon) - to do battle with giants of the UK tribute underworld, such as Spandau Cafe, Depeche Vogue, Culture Pub, The League of Humans, an ABC act, an Asian Wet Wet Wet tribute singer called Marti Pilau, and legendary Newcastle rocker John Bon Geordie.
Shot very well on Red One in 2009 and 2010 with a superb and very talented crew and now almost edited. We need a Production manager / Line Producer / Co ordinator for september and a week of october. It will not be a heavy mad shoot as we shot 5 weeks in 2009 and have just done 2 weeks. It's mainly finishing scenes, pickups and re shooting a few things.
Job requirements will be co ordinating actors, crew, kit needed and budget. Accommodation and food available on a lovely big film studio in the country where we also run our unit base offices.
