Daisy (Actor)FemaleCaucasian-White50-60DAISY (in her fifties) struggles to recover from the death of her husband, increasingly becoming a stranger to herself and her family. Not having left the house for months, the film happens on the day she decides to venture out to the streets in search of marijuana, which has been the only method she's found to make herself feel better. The marijuana, originally provided by her daughter Claire, who thought it would help her mother deal with the loss; has now become a reason for confrontation between the two women, as Claire refuses to provide her mother with any more. Daisy leaves the house looking for marijuana, but within a peculiar encounter with a young boy, she finds the reason to regain control of her life. The film is about self realisation through a desperate act, triggered by long periods of apathy, passivity, and the feeling of helplessness as her own daughter behaves like her mother.
