Details
Wardrobe Supervisor wanted to supervise the wardrobe of our main characters and to provide the costumes for our minor characters for a feature film that I am doing some screen tests for titled 'The Clergyman'.

Synopsis
At the opening of our film there exists two separate worlds - the world of the intellectual and social, and the world of the working classes and unemployed - which stand in direct opposition to each other. Rarely do these worlds come into contact with each other except through the main characters of the story that we focus the audience's interest. Our drama consists in the collision of these two worlds through Simon Jeffries and Matthew Lucas. This is their personal stories.

Our story begins with the introduction of Matthew Lucas who preaches a sermon in a city church and is duly praised by an American pastor who invites him to come over to America to preach. A wardrobe supervisor is needed to provide a stetson and possibly a suit for this character to represent the southern state American pastor and the big country of America. The costume of the following character will orientate the audience towards the social background of this story:

Wendy Birchall (30-40)
A graduate of Oxford University who tells us something about the frustrated middle class housewife who can't have children and finds solace in people who are worst off than them. She will donate to any humanitarian cause in order to provide meaning to her life and justify her social status. The directness of her mind and speech penetrates instantly to the heart of Simon who surrounds his speech with grammatical constructions that he absorbed in Oxford. She discovers that this Simon Jeffries although an Oxford graduate is a social climber with no society. She recognises clearly in life the position of Simon and analyses it devastatingly for him at the dinner party. A woman who has no capacity for accepting people who are different from her as a social and intellectual equal. She has never known freedom for herself because of her love of status and class. She is passing through the only life she will ever know, seeing nothing, feeling nothing like a mole. The only fulfilment she has in life is the creation of Matthew Lucas as a clergyman.

This is an expenses only collaboration as I have been turned down for funding by all the traditional sources. Email your c.v. and covering letter for consideration.
